week 4, thursday
[ in hindsight, deciding to host a sleepover when 2/3 of the people here is someone you kissed is a little #awkward but like. it's fine? she's going to make this work.
so, when everyone is here, stephanie will gesture wildly at the room from her spot on the bed. ]
Hellooo! Welcome to our humble abode.

Hellooo! Welcome to our humble abode.

[ or... poly dates... but she is fairly certain half the people in this room won't understand what that means and this is potentially not the best time to explain. ]
We can play a game though!
no subject
also, he'll fill in for steph, because what is timing.]
Or polygamy.
[anyway.]
Yeah, games are what really make a sleepover, right?
no subject
at least he's not going to ask about polygamy, because that seems like a bad idea whether he knows what it is or not and I'm not googling that this early.]
Are they? You should have said so last time.
[a slight smile, there. yeah he's pretty sure that sleepover was not the time.]
Just what sort of games are you meant to play, then?
I'M SO LATE i'm sorry
Hikage just wrinkles his nose at the suggestion of polygamy - he knows what that is, but he's not partaking, thank you!! ]
Games...?
[ he can't answer that, either, so he looks back over to Steph and Belph. ]
no subject
Truth or dare?
no subject
[spoilers belph has never actually had a sleepover before, but.]
I think Hikage might die over that one, though.
no subject
[the truth part does not sound ideal tbh.]
Is it one you're familiar with, Hikage?
no subject
I've never heard of it. [ a beat. ] ... I already died once. Do your worst.
no subject
but also, oocly, francy is not entirely sure how this would work with a tag order and i realized this after tagging this thread. ]
Other popular games include things like spin the bottle, which we aren't doing, seven minutes in heaven, which we also aren't doing, never have I ever, which... we could do, I guess.
no subject
Well, I'm always in favour of anything that provides an excuse to drink.
no subject
I doubt any of these games are meant to kill.
[hikage please... but also he is unfamiliar with the rest of those, please help your ye oldes. steph gets a patiently confused look at that list, though it breaks into a wry smile at belph's response.]
Are you sure we should bring alcohol into the equation, though?
no subject
It was a joke, [ he mutters offhandedly in Shirasu's direction, but continues. ] I thought she said we weren't playing the bottle one, anyway. Just pick one, Stephanie.
no subject
and then she laughs again at the bottle comment. steph loves all of you guys who don't know what the internet is... bless. ]
Okay, okay. I'll explain the different rules for each and you guys pick which is more appealing? Truth or dare is basically what it says on the tin-- you're asked to choose between the two. If you pick truth, the person asks you a question and you answer honestly. If it's dare, you have to do some action that the person tells you to do. You get a punishment if you refuse to answer or do the dare.
For never have I ever, a lot of the time it's played with alcohol but you can do it without? Someone has to go, "Never have I ever... done insert a thing here." If you have actually done the thing, then you need to take a drink. Easy enough, right?
[ she does not explain the other games she mentioned because she would rather die considering who is in this room. ]
no subject
Well, whichever one we do, this should be entertaining...
[namely because of the people involved.]
no subject
he's not asking, though, if they're already off the table-- that's a question for later. instead he considers the explanations for a few moments.]
...of the two, I personally think the first sounds more interesting.
[watch him as he never picks truth, probably,]
no subject
[ stupid? embarrassing? like a recipe for disaster? all of the above? Hikage can't decide, so he just wrinkles his nose, shrugging his shoulders slightly.
But he's not getting out of this, and he knows it. ]
Whatever. I agree with him, [ he says, jabbing a thumb in Shirasu's direction. ]
no subject
Belph... go.
no subject
no subject
Dare,
no subject
[he looks over at shirasu and hikage.]
So, what do you think I should dare her to do?
no subject
Can we dare her to not get injured for a week?
no subject
That doesn't sound like a bad place to start, actually.
