So. [HELLO STEPH...] Where do you want me to start?
hydrogenetic: (that's for the restless)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-16 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
[That's lofty, so give him a moment to think about it.]

Okay. I'm...not really great at school in the first place. And a lot of my teachers never believed me when weird stuff happened that I could never explain. Mortals have a hard time seeing through the Mist, so everything I saw sounded like I was making stuff up. And...well, public schools and especially private schools don't want to deal with troubled kids. It was easier for them to just kick me out when things happened. Six schools in six years, and for the longest time everyone blamed me for not being good enough.
hydrogenetic: (And why do we like to hurt so much?)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-17 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. [It's clear the yeah is regarding the mist because he doesn't know how to reply to the first part.] It's like this layer that stops mortals from seeing things the way they really are, like monsters or buildings disguised as something else. Stuff like that. Most mortals can't see through it, but some are strong enough that they can.
hydrogenetic: (Shall we sing)

[Me: what the hell did I put on his profile.]

Yeah, exactly. I didn't find out why until a couple of years ago but I could see stuff and weird stuff always happened to me like...accidentally blowing stuff up, or dunking my entire class in a shark tank. Also not my fault. But people have said it's because our powers aren't always controlled until we really start training.

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-17 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
[Uh.]

...yeah. They're helping us back home with the fight against Gaea, but why are you asking? [He's not stupid. He knows why. He just doesn't want to know why.]
hydrogenetic: (Cannot seem to find my way home tonight)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-18 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
[Just...closing his eyes, goodbye.]

Of course they were. [The thing is that this doesn't even surprise him.] ...how'd they do?
hydrogenetic: (Try not to mistake)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-18 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Hm. That's not so great.]

But your dead came back, didn't they?
hydrogenetic: (Oh I'm still alive)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-20 08:44 am (UTC)(link)
Good. [RELIEF. He isn't even close to either of them at his canonpoint, but it's nice to know since they're familiar faces.] We kind of need them back home for something pretty important, so it'd be a little bit of a letdown if they weren't heading back to help the others.
hydrogenetic: (If I fall forward)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-20 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
It's...pretty busy. [Haha.] I don't know how much they told you, but we have to kind of stop Gaea from destroying the world before it's too late. And with the doors of the death wide open it makes it harder to keep our enemies down.
hydrogenetic: (Try not to mistake)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-22 06:55 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. That's literally what Annabeth and I were doing before we ended up in that town. We were in the elevator heading back up to the surface from Tartarus and instead...that happened.
hydrogenetic: (How am I supposed to feel)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-24 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's how Thanatos enters and exits whenever he wants, but because of everything going on with Gaea they were stuck open so that all of the monsters we killed didn't stay dead.
hydrogenetic: (I still try)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-25 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Tell me about it. [Stupid.] We...were sort of in the elevator riding up to the surface and keeping the doors shut right before we got to the town so. Pretty close.

[Haha.]
hydrogenetic: ('Cause I'm still breathing on my own)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-26 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
That would make my life way too easy. Guess it doesn't count unless you're fixing everything at the last minute.
