[ as much as steph hates to admit it, everyone most likely thought that it would be akechi. he was the obvious choice for someone to go after if they were forced to kill-- someone who everyone already knows murdered while here. ]

He was the last person I expected.

Yeah. And... did you ever find out how he got healed?

[ because varian was still avoiding him which is now. awkward. great now he feels guilty over a corpse he didn't even do. damn. ]

No. I mean, there's the possibility that he got healed by a potion? Like the one you had, but...

[ that would require them finding out all the people who managed to make those and ask them. ]

I don't know. There weren't that many ingredients in the lab to begin with, and there's only so many people here who can make those.

[ varian wasn't even one of those until fane taught him, because healing potions is magic shut the fuck up ]

I tried asking the Crafters about it, but obviously they would not tell me. [ stupid npcs. ] It's-- Veronica and I think it has to do with the "sides" in this war. At first, I thought it might be roles meant to... to kill, but after last week, it's obvious people are picked randomly for that.

[ because the killers said so. yea ]

I was talking to Nico a week ago and he brought up that there might be titles that weren't listed since it's not like they outright said the ones on the list are everything.

... although I guess if they aren't officially called titles then that makes more sense.

Right. So, some people here have two "abilities"... one of which they're keeping even more secret than normal. That's why Veronica and I decided not to tell anyone we knew. Since...

I think whoever killed Dave might have had a role like this.

I have been wondering about Dave's killer. The Crafters chose Ann and Akechi to work together, so it seems a little weird that they picked someone else that week when they already hit their quota?

[ the only other option is that someone without a role did it just because they wanted to and that's the most yikes of all. ]

Exactly. They didn't pick them, which means one of three things. One, someone with a special role did it. Two, someone just decided to kill Dave for... for fun? [ fucked up. ] Or... three, which is that Dave doesn't have a killer per se.

Like... something else in the game killed him?

[ which, admittedly, would not be too shocking considering their week. ]

Right. The fact that he was found dead near the wishing well... Do you know if anyone ever checked to see if he still had his token?

No, that... that would make sense? I thought it was weird that the other death had a lot of evidence for it, but not Dave's.

[ it would be easy to assume that ann and akechi just fucking suck, but that doesn't really seem to line up with how the crafters want this game played. ]

Right, exactly. Not to mention the Crafters told us there were two killers, but both of those guys participated directly in the ... well, the killing.

What do you think the chances are of them confirming if this theory is right or not tomorrow?

I would give it maybe 0.056%? Maybe point seven.
